Home for the Holidays

It is the best time of year!! I've had these decorations up long before thanksgiving and I have no shame in celebrating Christmas a little bit early. Especially in New York everything here has been decorated mid-november. Never hurts to start decorating in your own little corner which is why I made over my apartment this weekend!

PB teen has some great new arrivals for the holidays, my favorite being these moose pajamas that also have a matching sheet set. I decided to opt for. a snowflake pattern flannel sheet instead. This with the pottery barn comforter keeps me so warm during the night. I will definitely be keeping these on my bad long past Christmas to stay warm in my room.

Another new addition to the room is my jewelry mirror and shelf. One thing my room was missing was storage. Because my apartment doesn't have a built in closet, I am lacking the normal closet space to use as storage. I got a little creative and combined my desk with my dresser for extra table space. I also hung the shelf and mirror up above to free up more desk space.

The shelf matches the jewelry stand perfectly and great for holding up all my journals and books! I've been working on growing my earring and perfume collection, the mirror is a great place to both organize and display them beautifully!

Also the finishing touch to any Christmas decoration is a tree! I like to keep my baby one on my nightstand along with my stocking,
