A Girl and Her Pearls

Thursday, January 14, 2016

Being back home in Boston for three weeks was the perfect break that I needed. I took advantage of my free days to try to go to the city as much as possible. I went to the Paramount on Beacon Hill to get brunch with Vivian, I got an omelette and she got this amazing looking french toast! I've been trying to switch it up a little with not wearing black pants all the time, but I can't seem to help it! Instead of my usual plain ones, I went out on a whim and took and old pair I kept at home and cut them up. I already have ripped black jeans (no surprise) but I did the slits on the knees a little smaller on these, and also distressed the hem of them.

To sweeten up the ripped jeans, I borrowed this awesome pearl embellished sweater from my mom's closet and because it was just a tad chilly out (and I was not having the best hair day) I added this cute beanie that I just got for Christmas! School has started up again this week, and I've already been to all my classes. I talked a lot about not enjoying most of my last semester because of all the work, but I think this semester will go a lot smoother.
