On my last day home before leaving for school, I had a strong craving for lemonade. My sister and I even did some pre-drink research on Yelp and found Pete's Coffee had a tea that tasted like lemonade. Of course we didn't realize that review was a couple years old and they no longer served the drink. I ended up getting some other random tea. Drink in hand, we headed outside and a woman holding sunflowers walked in. There's no flower shop near where we were so I thought it was a little odd, but right outside Pete's was a little flower set up! It wasn't much, but there was a bucketful of sunflowers and an amazing sign that read "$1 per stem". If you're like me, and you love flowers, but you usually just look at them because they are way too expensive, than you know how great this deal was!
I was so hyped that I bought two stems even though I'd be leaving the next day, but it really just brightened up my day and was seriously the best dollar I've ever spent! It also happened to match with my easy breezy swing dress that was perfect for the hot day. We immediately took photos after we bought the flowers, and it seriously began to POUR. So I called them my Sun shower Sunflowers(:
